We are an NGO and CBO in central Uganda. Since 2017, our mission has been to empower young moms to break out of poverty, by offering skill training in practical jobs, such as sewing, soap making, agriculture and more.

Here are the current needs we are focusing on. If you want to donate to these needs, add a note to your donation with the according subject line.

New: Vocational Training Center
Many women in Uganda have access farmland, but don't know how to use it. They end up moving to cities where they get stuck in slums.
We want to help prevent this poverty trap. So, we bought 5 acres of land in the countryside near Kapeeka, to build a vocational training center for young mothers. We will teach women small-scale organic farming, sewing, soap-making, reading, parenting, creative thinking, and other skills they need to live on their own land.

Child Sponsorship
We don't only want to give teen moms an education but also to their children.
So that the whole family breaks out of poverty.

"POVERTY IS MORE THAN JUST HAVING LESS MONEY. IT'S HAVING LESS EDUCATION, LESS JUSTICE, LESS CONFIDENCE, LESS REASON TO LIVE. POVERTY HAS MANY LAYERS, SO THE SOLUTION HAS TO HAVE MANY LAYERS, TOO."
THOMAS SCHMIDT / GERMAN MISSIONARY
"HOW DO YOU HELP PEOPLE IN A POOR NATION? YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO HELP WITHOUT OFFENDING THE CULTURE. YOU NEED TO LISTEN A LOT. LET GOD DO HIS PART AND HAVE FAITH TO DO YOURS. AND STAY COMMITTED, EVEN WHEN THINGS GET DIFFICULT."
